Looking for originality
Charles Noëllat, a prestigious Burgundy house
An independent family business, Maison Charles Noëllat is the heir to a long tradition dating back to the 17th century. It was at the dawn of the 20th century that Charles Noëllat and his wife set to work on some of Burgundy's finest plots, in the Domaine de Vosne-Romanée. Following a fascinating historical fresco, the Maison Charles Noëllat is brought back to life by his descendant Stéphane and his partner Antoine, who manages the business. The quest for excellence in the pure, elegant expression of great terroirs is the essence of the house. It offers its services to wine merchants, traditional and contemporary restaurants, prestigious hotels and other intimate venues rigorously selected around the world to promote the passion of the land and wine.
Exceptional Burgundy vintages
Maison Charles Noëllat builds on the estate's centuries-old tradition to offer palates a rich palette of taste sensations. Each bottle is an opportunity to reveal all the nuances of a refined, convivial pleasure; each sip reveals a unique facet to decipher... or simply to appreciate.
Today, the House offers its customers two distinct ranges: the MAISON range and the HOMMAGE range. While the former is dedicated to the rediscovery in our cellars of old vintages that we consider to be real treasures, the latter bears witness to our respect for the hard, sophisticated work of the Noëllat family, with only bottles from the prestigious historic appellations of the Charles Noëllat estate.

Burgundy's exceptional wine-growing region
Burgundy is still world-renowned for its vineyards and the excellence of its wines. Clos Vougeot, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Santenay, Meursault, Gevrey-Chambertin, Pommard, Montrachet and, of course, Vosne-Romanée: these Climats de Bourgogne sound like a gentle lullaby full of promise in the ears of every oenologist as well as in those of lovers of unusual wines. Maison Charles Noëllat traces its origins back to a parcel of land beneath Romanée-Conti, then gradually expanded, without wanting to invest in too many different terroirs. Cultivation and vinification, parcel by parcel, are a fine art where listening and observation prevail over action, to let the terroir express itself as precisely and naturally as possible.

Charles Noëllat: a story that goes back to the 17th century
The history of our company is closely linked to the Noëllat family, the keystone of our daily work. Found in archives dating back to the 17th century, this family of winegrowers from the Meuilley area has perpetuated a winegrowing tradition that it has also helped to evolve.
Aforerunner of estate bottling since the 1920s, with a resolutely feminine imprint of the House marked by Laure and her daughter, an inimitable culture of terroirs and the pursuit of wine excellence above all else: Charles Noëllat has spanned the centuries with originality. Our aim is to perpetuate the family's history and, by the same token, its considerable contribution to Burgundy's remarkable vine-growing tradition.
